Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
Donor-advised funds are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States because they are one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give to charity. Tribute Gifts
Give in honor of or in memory of a loved one. If you would like, you can provide notification information in the area provided, and we will send an appropriate card in the mail notifying your special someone or their family member of your generous donation in their memory or honor. Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
Donors 70½ or older are able to make a qualified charitable distribution directly from their IRA custodian to Habitat for Humanity Lakeside. This distribution can be counted toward satisfying the donor’s required minimum distributions for the year. We recommend a conversation with your IRA custodian.
Planned Giving & Bequests
Planned giving empowers you to make a lasting gift that will continue to support Sheboygan County families and neighborhoods through Habitat’s work. Contribute through a bequest, retirement plan, estate donation, life income, remembrance in your will, or by creating a gift annuity. The official legal bequest language for Habitat for Humanity is:
“I, [name], of [city, state, ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to Habitat for Humanity Lakeside (39-1750309) [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose.”
Land
Donate a land parcel in Sheboygan County and help Habitat with the first step in the building process: securing a build site! We are also interested in low-cost land parcels. Please contact us if you have land you would like to donate or sell.

How Do I Donate My Car to Habitat for Humanity?
- You can start your donation online by navigating to our donation wizard, or call our hotline: 1-877-277-4344
- Our processing team will ask about your vehicle, including the make, model, vehicle identification number (VIN) and current mileage.
- When your vehicle is accepted, schedule a day and time for us to pick it up.
What Paperwork Do I Need to Donate My Car in Wisconsin?
- The State of Wisconsin will require a Certificate of Title in order to donate your car.
- To complete your car donation, transfer your title by entering the name of the agency that processes our car donations, ADVANCED REMARKETING SERVICES in the buyer/purchaser field. Then, PRINT and SIGN your name in the seller/owner field EXACTLY as it appears at the top of the title.
