Habitat for Humanity Lakeside
Habitat for Humanity Lakeside has a variety of opportunities available outside of the construction site and ReStore.
committee members
Join one of our committees. These include working with our programs, special events, finance and budget, and resource development.
Internships
We are looking for students who are interested in gaining experience in a non-profit setting. Some of our internship opportunities include Marketing/Communications, Human Resources, Volunteer Engagement and Family Services.
Note: Our next open internship opportunities are for Summer 2024 and Fall 2024.
office helpers
The Habitat for Humanity Lakeside office is a very busy place year-round. Assist the affiliate office with a variety of administrative work. Some examples of ongoing work that we have include stuffing envelopes for mailings, data entry, copying/filing projects and answering phones.
Court Ordered Community Service
If you have been court ordered to complete community service hours and would like to complete that with Habitat for Humanity Lakeside, the first step is to download our Court Ordered Community Service Form by clicking the button below. This form needs to be filled out and returned to Karina Aguirre, our Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator, at pbruesewitz@habitatlakeside.com, or by mailing it to Penny Bruesewitz, Habitat for Humanity Lakeside, PO Box 973, Sheboygan, WI 53082. If you have questions as you are filling out the form, please call Karina at 920-458-3399.
Things to keep in mind:
- Give yourself plenty of time
- Once you submit your form, we will complete a criminal background and sex offender registry check and review the information you provided for accuracy
- Once we review this information, you will be either approved or denied to complete your hours with us
- If you are approved, Karina will schedule a time with you for a volunteer orientation meeting where she will explain what volunteer opportunities we have and how you can sign up for shifts
